One effective way to enhance the customer experience is by sending automated thank you SMS messages when customers make a purchase. This automation will allow you to set up an automated thank you text message using Kixie, Zapier, and the Stripe billing platform.
New Payment Received
In Zapier, select Stripe as the billing platform. Make sure to choose the event “new payment received” and exclude failed payments to ensure that only successful transactions trigger the thank you message.
Trigger an SMS
Next, select Kixie as the action step. Choose the “Send SMS” event, and configure the sender email address to be the Kixie user.
Customize the Text Message
To personalize the message, we will obtain the customer’s phone number from their profile in Stripe. Then, use Kixie's templated SMS message feature to send a personalized text.
